NWC does not deserve increase
published: Saturday | January 3, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

FOR ALMOST seventeen years NWC has been collecting money from the citizens of Harbour View for services not provided. The NWC owes us millions of dollars. The residents of Harbour View should be putting together a team of lawyers to recover the millions of dollars that NWC collected from us.

The OUR the nation's watchdog should look into this matter. I am sure there are other communities that suffer the same fate. What is P.A.M.? Someone in authority needs to educate the Jamaica public about this. We need an answer and we need it now from the Minister of Water.

NWC does not deserve an increase in water rate at this moment. What happens to the millions they have been making in profits each year?

I am, etc.,

H.A.P. PRENDERGAST

Minister of Religion

Harbour View,

Kingston 17
