Remittance firm fetes children
published: Tuesday | January 6, 2004

CHILDREN FROM 11 orphanages and children's homes from the Corporate Area and Spanish Town were hosted at a movie and treats by the Management and staff of Grace, Kennedy Remittance Services Limited (GKRS) recently at Island Life Cinema in New Kingston.

A total of 260 children were facilitated in viewing the film 'Finding Nemo' while being fed popcorn, hot dogs and a soda. Approximately seven homes were provided with transportation by Burke's courtesy of GKRS to arrive on time for the show in ease and comfort.

This represents GKRS annual Christmas project treat for children who are less fortunate in order to spread a little Christmas cheer during the holiday season.
