FIRST-ROUND champions Waterhouse made the first big move on the transfer market yesterday, netting three players with National Premier League (NPL) experience.
Two of the trio formerly donned the colours of the light blue, yellow and white Drewsland outfit.
They are Curtis Hamilton and fellow defender Craig White, who earned the nickname 'Warlord' for his fearless tackling.
Hamilton was last attached to Manchester Super League team Los Perfectos and White to Tivoli Gardens, where he played earlier this season.
Kirk Ramsey, who formerly represented defending league champions Portmore United, is the other player signed by Waterhouse.
"That is the only club that has given three people who are completely registered," Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) press officer Earl Bailey told The Gleaner yesterday evening.
Bailey added that Waterhouse officials said: "They are looking for more quality players to bolster the squad so that they can win on points and also to win the trophy (overall championship)."
The window will be open for the month of January but transfers are only being processed from Mondays to Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
No other club fully registered a player yesterday but with today being the last opportunity for clubs to complete trading for the week, it is anticipated that a host of teams will swoop down on the JFF's New Kingston office to make new signings eligible for Sunday's Wray and Nephew National Premier League schedule.
Arnett Gardens, who have endured an uncharasterically poor run all season, have drawn major interest with president Patrick Roberts' admission of dealing with transfers for two foreign strikers - Liberian Nyansorh Peters who plays for Kansas City Wizards in the United States' MLS and St. Lucia's Under-23 captain, Jarvin Skeete.
The team, which in the past three campaigns won back-to-back titles and ended runners-up last season, is also expected to sign Bull Bay midfielder Demetrio Billett.
