THE EDITOR, Sir: THE PIECE done by your Senior Associate Editor, Lloyd Williams on Sunday January 4, 2004 is both well written and well timed. I am writing to support his stance.

THE EDITOR, Sir: THERE ARE many incidents in the past whereby if it weren't for the Employment Termination and Redundancy Payments Act persons would have been laid off with no regard to basic ethics.
