Traffic Police vs pickup mudguards
THE EDITOR, Sir: OUR COMPANY would like to expose what we consider to be an illegal and/or immoral practice by the Traffic Police of issuing tickets to drivers of pickup trucks for not having mudguards on vehicles.

Las May's cartoons, works of art
THE EDITOR, Sir: READING THE Gleaner is never the same without spending time to examine Las May's cartoons - simply, works of fine art.

Juror cries out for justice
THE EDITOR, Sir: SINCE FEBRUARY 2003, I, along with others, served as juror in the St. Mary Circuit Court Easter session.

Order and decency are becoming extinct
THE EDITOR, Sir: JAMAICANS, DESPITE callings and warnings from every direction, have ignored all and continue on a path of indiscipline, dishonesty and lawlessness in high and low places.

Seaga's departure would be morally right
THE EDITOR, Sir: IT APPEARS to me that the woes of Mr. Seaga's companies have now left him with no option but to bow out gracefully.

Help needed for our infirmaries
THE EDITOR, Sir: I READ with shock and dismay the situation regarding the inmates at the infirmaries in the island.

Lee Boyd's nomination was a joke
THE EDITOR, Sir: I DON'T get it! What was that about CVM newsmaker of the year awards? What's this about awarding negative behaviour? Lee Boyd's mother was invited to collect a plaque on his behalf.

Water is life and we have none
THE EDITOR, Sir: THIS IS for the Minister of Water and Housing. If Water is Life in 2004 and you have raised the price of water by 26 per cent and the consumers are unable to get water for nearly a week now...

Dr. Kenneth Williams
THE EDITOR, Sir: KINDLY ALLOW me a space in your column to express my sincere gratitude to the surgical doctor, Dr. Kenneth Williams, who has done an outstanding job at the Port Antonio Hospital.
