Juror cries out for justice
published: Thursday | January 22, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

SINCE FEBRUARY 2003, I, along with others, served as juror in the St. Mary Circuit Court Easter session.

We were promised a speedy allowance/reimbursement on lunch/travelling, etc. Though claims were made up we are yet to be paid.

Many of us borrowed money and I for one have been threatened violently by the person who gave the loan.

Can you not get the Minister Hon. A. J. Nicholson to help before I become a murder statistic.

I am, etc;

CARLETTE LEWD

Frustrated Juror

Fort George District

Annotto Bay PO, St. Mary
