Water is life and we have none
published: Thursday | January 22, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THIS IS for the Minister of Water and Housing. If Water is Life in 2004 and you have raised the price of water by 26 per cent and the consumers are unable to get water for nearly a week now, especially in Kirkland Heights, St. Andrew, where is the service?

For years we have raised the point to Pearnel Charles about installing standby pumps for the pumping stations, we need it now more than ever. Mr. Minister, the ball is in your court! We have tanks but no water.

I am, etc.,

DAVID JOHNSON
