JADE FULFORD, Miss Jamaica World, made waves at the 2003 Miss World Contest by not only placing 10th of 106 contestants in the final placing but by also being chosen as one of the top 10 Beach Beauties. Although Miss Ireland, the eventual winner of the Miss World title was also adjudged the winner of the Beach Beauties Competition, Miss Jamaica is currently the central figure in photographs on the Miss World website www.missworld.org
This website is being used to promote the Miss World swimsuit line, which will be launched this year.
Spartan Health Club credits gym instructor and certified Personal Trainer, Mark McDonald, with getting Jade into the physical condition that enabled her to achieve this dominant position among the Miss World 2003 beauties. Jade's late decision to enter the Miss Jamaica World 2003 Pageant meant that there was a lot of work to be done in a very short period of time not only for the national Pageant but also for the Miss World Contest, which is staged two months after.
A diet guideline and a modified circuit exercise programme to maximise fat burning and improve overall conditioning based on strength training machines were designed for Jade. Daily up-tempo aerobic classes complimented this programme. A detailed description of this circuit programme is outlined below along with the diet guideline. It should be noted that three weeks prior to her departure for Miss World this circuit programme was changed to accentuate her strong points and improve weak areas.
