Ageing leaders, fading vision
THE EDITOR, Sir: WHEN WE get old we can't do what we use to do when we were young. Now that our leaders are old they don't want to step down. They are still there holding on to power.


What a shame!
THE EDITOR, Sir; WE ARE tourists who have been staying in the Whitehouse area. We came here to find a tranquil small town setting, instead we were bombarded with loud music for the past six nights.


A state without vision
THE EDITOR, Sir; IT IS sad that a young girl is now dead because of the state's lack of vision.

THE EDITOR, Sir; I RECENTLY visited May Pen and found the town a booming place. There is one immediate concern, however.


A free society is a wonderful thing

Little respect for life
THE EDITOR, Sir: SO LITTLE is the respect for life that it is appalling! It would be better if we could go back to the times when especially people like Jamaicans respect God, respect themselves...


'Never-never land'
THE EDITOR , Sir: OVER THE years officers in the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) have been punished, it seems, by transfers to the Inspection Branch of the force which is popularly known as never-never land.


'Beautification' is only a band-aid
