What a shame!
published: Wednesday | January 28, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir;

WE ARE tourists who have been staying in the Whitehouse area. We came here to find a tranquil small town setting, instead we were bombarded with loud music for the past six nights.

We enjoyed the people, the area and the place we stayed. Unfortunately, we were unable to sleep at night due to the music going till near dawn. If other tourists asked where to stay we feel we could not recommend the Whitehouse/Culloden, Westmoreland area for the above reasons. What a shame!

We are, etc.,
