Letter of the day - Is the Greenfield proposal a joke?
THE EDITOR, Sir: I HAVE read carefully your editorial of February 13, 2004. You seem to think a stadium facility determines where the 2007 World Cup of Cricket will be held.

The 'rightness' of suspensions
THE EDITOR, Sir: I AM concerned about the rightness of suspensions given to students at schools. Suspension is no doubt deserving for students drinking, smuggling drugs, etc. But is it right for the student who is innocent of any such offence?

Double standards
THE EDITOR, Sir: THE DOUBLE standards in this country never cease to amaze me. Everyday several wreckers can be seen prowling the streets of downtown Kingston waiting like hawks to swoop down on their prey.

Learning from the past
THE EDITOR, Sir: IT'S ANOTHER Black History month and I would like to take this opportunity to implore my fellow Jamaicans not only to reflect on our past but also to reflect on what we have learnt from our past.
