Why not both sites for Cricket World Cup?
THE EDITOR, Sir: TO FULLY understand the debate raging over the preferred site for hosting the 2007 World Cricket Cup it is useful to know what the tournament involves.

Calling on the leaders
THE EDITOR, Sir: GOOD DAY, I am writing to you about education, ambition, dignity and integrity.

Renewed hope for better days
THE EDITOR, Sir: I MUST give my thanks to a band of professionals in a society that has grown cold, impersonal, uncaring and to some degree, even callous.

Wrong choices
THE EDITOR, Sir: I HOPE that Jamaican women will realise how much worth they have and that they deserve love like everyone else.

An incapable Force
THE EDITOR, Sir: AS I read the newspapers, listen to interviews and observe the effectiveness of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, in fighting and dealing with crime, I am convinced that the JCF is incapable of stemming crime and violence in Jamaica.

It is time to stop digging
THE EDITOR: Sir THERE IS compelling empirical evidence that Jamaica is in a bad social and economic state. When one finds oneself in a hole it is time to stop digging.

An appeal to readers
THE EDITOR, Sir: I AM Detective Chief Inspector with the Sussex Police in Sussex, United Kingdom.
