Setting precedent

THE EDITOR, Sir:
THE PRIME Minister stated that the removal of Haitian President Aristide sets a bad precedent. However, this is my question to him.
Does the one-upmanship implementation of the CCJ (a court without bi-partisan support, a court established by simple majority, a court that can be eliminated by simple majority, a court that is not sanctioned by the people of Jamaica) set a bad precedent in a modern Jamaican democracy?
I am, etc.,
