Dancing for God
published: Thursday | March 4, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I JUST read the article on Praise Academy and Ms. Nobles' vision. I write from Barbados and am proud to say I am one of the approximately 38 members of Praise Academy of Dance Barbados.

Being involved in dance ministry has been a blessing to my life, changed my life and deepened my relationship and commitment to God. With the deepening of the commitment I find myself facing some intense and even difficult challenges and opposition. Ms Noble should be absolutely pleased with what she has inspired, and has truly honoured the Lord with her purpose.

We just returned from a ministry trip to St. Lucia and the workshop and ministry were amazing. The concert we held in conjunction with Avad St. Lucia was amazing, dancers danced, felt, and ministered with things that could only have been of the Holy Spirit.

Continue in building this ministry throughout the Caribbean as I have the vision of it being a way in which God unites the people of the Caribbean, saves many souls, draws many of our young people closer to him and heightens our awareness of his vision for our lives.

I am, etc.,

DIANE BRATHWAITE
