Paul Bicknell, retired chief executive officer (CEO) of the Dyoll Group of Companies, accepts a gift from Gloria Alvaranga, Dyoll associate in policy delivery, at a recent cocktail reception held recently in his honour at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston.
AFTER SEVERAL years of distinguished service, Paul Bicknell has retired as the chief executive officer of the Dyoll Group of Companies.
The announcement was made by Dyoll Group Chairman, Christopher Bovell, last Monday at a special cocktail reception held in Mr. Bicknell's honour at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston.
Mr. Bovell hailed the retiring CEO for his excellent leadership of the group and thanked him for his major contribution to its growth and development over the years.
Senior executives from Dyoll and the wider insurance industry were on hand to personally deliver their best wishes to Mr. Bicknell.
Gloria Alvaranga, a 40-year veteran of Dyoll, and an associate in policy delivery, presented Mr. Bicknell with a special gift from the company.
In his reply, Mr. Bicknell said he had mixed feelings about his departure, noting that he had a terrific time with Dyoll, and was leaving with a lifetime of memories. He said he planned to enjoy his retirement, although he will stay on as a consultant for the Group.
Mr. Bicknell has been replaced as CEO of the Group by Stephen Thwaites.
