Highway donkeys a problem
published: Wednesday | March 24, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

RECENTLY I was driving along the Mandela Highway, near the Ferry Police Station, when, in the dead of night, two frolicking donkeys dashed across the road a few metres in front of me.

I am asking the relevant authorities to impound these animals before motorists lose their lives obviously their owners are really 'assing' around.

I am, etc.,
