THE EDITOR, Sir:
ALTHOUGH THE song 'Mad, sick, head nuh good' really mocked us, it appears to have a lot of truth to it.
Over the past months I was shocked by the level of madness taking place in our country. "From di house of Parliament to di men on the street, wi watch it pan T.V. and read it in the papers. Then we watched two entertainers at the recent Sting acting out what seems to be 'The Crazy Hype'. Followed by patrons throwing bottles without any sense of purpose (seemingly following through).
Recently in Spanish Town, brazen young men shooting wildly in the heart of the town; with no regard for the young nor the elderly. And the list goes on.
If the song 'Mad, sick head nuh good' is so truthful, then I would advise the lawmakers to enact legislation to give psychologists powers of arrest.
'Those crazy minds need to be arrested!"
I am, etc.,
