A SHOOTING in the Green Pond area of St. James on Thursday night left one man dead and three other persons injured, including two teenagers.

The dead man has been identified as 31-year-old Michael Wilson, also called 'Blacks', of the Birch Hill area of Green Pond, while injured are two teenage boys aged 16 and 17, and a 31-year-old man, all of St. James addresses.

The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) reports that the four were among a group of persons playing bingo at the Green Pond Crossing about 9:30 p.m. when they were approached by two gunmen who opened fire at them. The gunmen fled in a waiting station wagon motor car.
