Impressed with honesty of Jamaicans

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I RECENTLY had the pleasure of visiting Ocho Rios while on the cruise ship Island Princess. Ocho Rios was the first stop on the cruise. While there I left my new camera and both pairs of glasses in a small case on a cab. There was no identification in the case.

The following morning at sea I checked with the pursers office on the ship and to my surprise my lost items were there. The cab driver who returned the articles to the ship left no name so rewarding him was not possible. I was very impressed with the honesty of the Jamacian people and will return there for a much longer extended stay.
