My father
published: Thursday | April 1, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM at present residing in London, England and I am trying to locate my father Mr. Lascelles Brown of Kingston, Jamaica. I don't have much information about him but was told that he used to work at Hannah Town Bakery in Kingston and he had a best friend called Basil and a sister living somewhere in West Kingston. He also had a son and a daughter.

Several years ago when I was living in Jamaica my mother was working at the then A.M.C. market at Three Miles in Kingston. While there a friend told her that she heard over the radio some people looking for her from Clarendon, unfortunately nothing came out of it as we did not get enough information.

I am asking kindly please if you could help me locate my father or any of his relatives who know his whereabouts or his friend Basil.

My name is Marlene Brown and I was born on May 25, 1968 at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital to one Edna Martin (Joyce), as she is known to my dad. My telephone number is 0208-4428216 or 0794-4358072.

I am, etc.,

MARLENE BROWN
