Bitter pill for returning residents

THE EDITOR, Sir:
IF JAMAICA would put on their priority list the medical situation in the island and try to have a properly equipped hospital in all major towns, with ambulances, etc., a lot more overseas residents would return home.
That is a major setback for retirees, too few hospitals and emergency facilities. It is wonderful for all these new hotels, etc. But heaven forbid we get sick and have an emergency while we are visiting or chose to return home.
