...Dr Crooks
published: Thursday | April 1, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

KINDLY PERMIT me to publicly say thanks to Dr. Crooks and his mobile team for the high level of professionalism they displayed at the scene of an accident in which I was involved on Friday, February 20, 2004 on Milford Road, Ocho Rios.

They came promptly and did not hesitate to rescue the injured, although the rain was pouring heavily. They knew what to do and did not leave anything to chance. Getting me from the car to the ambulance was well executed. They secured all possible areas of potential injury so as to avoid further injury.

In the ambulance I felt safe. They used all their devices and skills to get me quickly and supported to the hospital. If that was not good enough they stayed throughout examinations and X-rays.

The team of medical personnel at the St. Ann's Bay Hospital were not be outdone. They were equally swift and thorough in their investigation. I feel very proud to know that we are capable of delivering such efficient medical service.

It would be good if this could be duplicated in every centre of Jamaica. Thumbs up to both teams. God bless you all.

I am, etc.,

MONICA McINTYRE (Mrs)

Principal

Ocho Rios High School

Box 231, Ocho Rios
