HIGH SCHOOL cheerleading invades the National Indoor Sports Centre (NISC) today and tomorrow as part of the KFC/Cable & Wireless National Basketball League's All-star weekend of activities.

Nineteen high schools from across the island will take part in a competition beginning today at the NISC at noon. Alpha High, Camperdown High, Clan Carty High, Cumberland High and Denham Town High strut their skills in the first event and Edith Dalton James High, Hydel Group of Schools, Immaculate High, Mavis Bank High and Merl Grove High follow at 3:15 p.m.

DAY'S ACTIVITIES

Tomorrow, McGrath High, Oberlin High, Priory High, The Queen's School and St. Andrew High open the day's activities at 11:00 a.m. and St. Catherine High, St. Hugh's High, Vauxhall High and Waterford High follow at 2:15 p.m.

Also part of the NBL's All-star weekend is the mid-season final between Blazing Panthers and Tivoli All-stars today at 6:30 p.m. Rae Town Raptors will also face St. George's Slayers at 1:00 p.m. and Buckfield United meet Urban Knights at 4:00 p.m.

A star-studded team will take the court tomorrow as the best players in the NBL match skills in the All-star game beginning at 3:30 p.m. The KFC Combo All-stars will try to outdo the C&W Mobile All-stars in a game that promises plenty of highlights and non-stop action.

The slam dunk and three-point shoot-out competition will precede the All-star game.

The top high school players will also be a part of the fun-filled weekend as a rural team will battle with a Corporate Area team. This game tips-off at noon.
