Wake up people!

THE EDITOR, Sir:

RECENTLY, I heard Mutty Perkins pose a very important question: 'what did Bruce do as founder/president of the NDM to give anyone comfort that he could successfully lead the JLP?' By extension, I wonder also about the leadership of the country.

As a country, I think we are continuing to allow our hearts to be making head decisions. Wake up people! Sentiments have left our country bankrupt economically and intellectually. We have got to lift ourselves beyond the politics of our forefathers who voted for the chief and NW long after they had died.
