'Ele' gets spring bling with new video
published: Thursday | April 8, 2004

By Teino Evans, Staff Reporter

THE ELEPHANT'S energy level has just tripled, as he says he has been getting some crazy feedback from his latest album, Good 2 Go.

As a matter of fact the 'Energy God' recently had his new video for the song Jook Gal (off the Good 2 Go album) premier on BET's 106 and Park as the new joint for the day and says it will soon be voted into their top 10 countdown.

Elephant Man is ecstatic.

According to the deejay, "Di vibes did well nice." He added that "right now di album is doing very good and the feedback overseas and locally is great."

The 'Energy God' said that it will not stop there, as he has just returned from performing at MTV's Spring Break. "Wi rip up di place a MTV Spring Break," Ele said. And now, he is looking forward to something even bigger.

"Mi fi host BET Spring Bling in the next two weeks," Ele revealed to The Gleaner. This takes place over two days, April 17 and 18, in Daytona Beach, Florida.

"The college kids, because of the video (Jook Gal), have been requesting me to perform all over," he said. That feedback has led to this latest gig.

In the meantime, Ele says he has been working on some new singles, which he hopes to release soon. "Right now wi have some new singles coming, like Over Di Wall, God A Dweet, Weh Dem Hate Wi Fah and the new track on the Scoobay rhythm, Scoobay," he said.

This high output should come as no surprise, as the Energy God is always at work. For his fans, Ele says only thing: "Wi nah stop done di place."
