Perverted bus crew

THE EDITOR, Sir:

PAEDOPHILES, SADISTS and child abusers look normal and act normal, so stories of bus crew who are perverted predators come as no surprise to me. I was shocked that Mr. Millwood was able to get away with tucking in neatly the misbehaviour of the girls while protecting his crew 'executive' buses even while he hypocritically asks that policing be done.

Ironically, the executive buses are cited as some of the transports used for pimping. The system that man implemented in the 1980s is singularly responsible for so much of the breakdown of discipline in this country. It was while his system of bus operation was in place that the nastiness started; murder, careless injuries to children, molestations and then the explosive 'cutting out of pockets' among girls. The JUTC system certainly would never be named among that rotten lot. For the first time, my godchild can and does take public transportation, why? Because it is a responsible bus system ­ with strict accountability structure.

Adults are adults and if a precocious child should make certain advances to you, you should be strong enough to put such a child in her place. Why should an appealing toddler tempt you to resort to creeping again? Let me repeat, I lay the blame squarely in the lap of our justice system, where the judges are concerned. The sorts of judgements now pronounced are forcing people to arm themselves. The judges who continue to set paedophiles free, are asking the citizens, covertly to take the law into their own hands. This country has given open licence to every form of evil possible. It is as if a sign is being placed over Jamaica stating ­ "Killing for hire, our children are ripe and ready for all sort of abuses, pre-teenage girls and boys and sitting ducks for paedophiles ­ come every sick lot from every nation, we will allow you freedom to do any sick thing you want in Jamaica."
