Health facility to utilise
published: Friday | April 16, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

KINDLY ALLOW me some space in your columns to bring this matter to the public. Approximately three years ago, the Mason Hall Past Student Association, which is now inactive, started a Health Centre in the Mason Hall community. However the Association could not finance this project to the finish so the Lift Up Jamaica was called in to finalise the project. The Health Centre was completed on September of last year.

To this present day it has not been opened to the public. For many years the community has had a clinic which is operated in a house that has no proper facilities. It has been ordered closed by the Public Health Department. I am appealing to our Member of Parliament, Dr. Neil McGill, and the relevant authority to address this matter as soon as possible to alleviate this constraint.

I am, etc.,

AUDLEY MARTIN

Mason Hall District

Mason Hall P.A.,

St. Mary
