Accolades for Lara

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Perhaps Brian Lara's mentor, Sir Garfield Sobers, being a Knight of the round table could suggest or recommend that Brian Charles Lara join the cricketing round table of Sir Donald Bradman, and Sir Vivian Richards, in recognition of Lara's outstanding individual cricketing achievement.

Gone are the days where one waits until you are old and bent over to receive important awards/or accolades of this nature. It indeed would be another major motivational achievement for the Caribbean and its people.
