Sheila Whittaker
THE EDITOR, Sir: I AM trying to locate a lady by the name of Sheila Whittaker who lived in Top Road, Brown's Town, St. Ann, during the years 1950 to 1960. She has since gotten married and moved away.

Shame on Adams!
THE EDITOR, Sir: SSP RENETO Adams' statement that the Police High Command are 'a total failure' and they are just as 'dangerous as the common criminals' speaks much to the feeling of bitterness which Adams currently holds towards that group.


Improper use of dual carriageways
THE EDITOR, Sir: I WRITE to express my disgust with the drivers who do not know how to properly use the dual carriage highways such as the Old Harbour Bypass and Mandela Highway.


Are we out of the woods?
THE EDITOR, Sir: PRIOR TO 1943 the elected Government of Jamaica was 13 or 14 members. We tried and failed and learnt from our mistakes but Jamaica remained a proud country.

Dangerous trend
THE EDITOR, Sir: AS A regular commuter on the JUTC buses, I have noticed a dangerous trend which I need to address using this medium.


Concerned Jamaican
THE EDITOR, Sir: I AM a Jamaican living in Florida. A fellow Jamaican went to New York and suffered a massive stroke on September 13, 2003, and is now lying in a nursing home in the Bronx.


Fires another form of praedial larceny
THE EDITOR, Sir: HAVING RECENTLY suffered the loss of 22 years of work from fire in St. Elizabeth, my condolences to property owners in Jack's Hill.
