Selfish intentions
published: Tuesday | April 27, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THE RECENT abstention of Mrs Portia Simpson Miller from the fire vote in parliament is a cheap ploy by her to gain popularity as being concerned about Jamaicans. Her constituency is in shambles after so many years of her doing nothing to revive it.

If she is given the leadership of this country we would be in dire straits.

I am, etc.,

JERRY FOSTER
