ALLIANCE INVESTMENT Management Limited will be launching an international equities trading competition, today at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, New Kingston at 9.00a.m. which is open to the public.
The objective of the competition is to educate investors about the analytical and research tools available to facilitate international diversification in portfolio management.
The Alliance Stock Wizard Challenge will take the form of an online investment simulation model, which will allow participants to invest in stocks listed on the NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX exchanges.
The competition will run for a three-month period beginning on May 31, 2004 and the top four performers will receive cash prizes to open Alliance Online Trading accounts with Alliance.
