CORNEL GREY, The Gleaner's Children's Own 2004 Spelling Bee Champion, and Dana Ashley, runner-up in the Kingston Parish Finals, cut the birthday cake yesterday to celebrate the Children's Own newspaper's 54th anniversary.

The party was held at the newspaper's North Street, central Kingston offices.
