Special thanks and appreciation

THE EDITOR, Sir:

LET ME use this medium to express my thanks and appreciation to the hard working team in the mosquito eradication unit of the Ministry of Health for their quick response and professionalism displayed on the job.

I contacted them on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 about an infestation problem we were having at our apartment complex. Mr. Baker immediately took the information and promised to have a member of his staff come and have a look at the area. True to his word his representative turned up on Thursday morning, looked around and said at 6:30 they would be back to fog the area.

At 6:30 that same evening their team led by Mr. Anderson were on location and begun the fogging process. It is refreshing to have had such a response and to top it off the professionalism displayed by all gives me hope for our people and the roles they play in our government service.
