LONDON, CMC:
THE WEST Indies moved back to London looking to complete victory in their final warm-up one-day cricket match today against Middlesex before the real deal later this week.
The West Indies preparations for the three-nation one-day international series with England and New Zealand have gone well, despite a stunning defeat to Ireland last Thursday.
They have won their past two one-day tour matches against Sussex and Kent and will be looking to make it three wins out of three against Middlesex.
Following the match against Kent, vice-captain Ramnaresh Sarwan indicated there was more room for improvement.
"As a team I think we should have gotten 300 because it was a pretty good batting surface, but unfortunately we didn't get that," he said.
"In the end 275, proved to be enough. I think we bowled OK, but there is a lot of room for improvement especially in the extras department. We bowled too many extras, 40 extras is unacceptable."
Middlesex have named South African all-rounder Lance Klusener in their 11 for today's match at Lord's.
