Put plain clothes cops at banks

THE EDITOR, Sir:
THE CROSS Roads police need to have a plain clothes officer placed outside the station among the 'crooks' who sell the papers there.
My reason is I have just returned from abroad. I went to the bank at Cross Roads where I made a lodgement. I felt a man's hand on my wallet. He took the lodgement slip from another pocket. By the time I called the police, he disappeared.
