Contributor 'FRESH OLIVE 2004, The Evening of Music and Dance', staged at the Edna Manley College School of Music on Saturday evening, turned out to be a mixed bag of goodies. The quality of the performances varied as much as the items themselves.

Poetry gets 'Gender Fever'
ALWAYS WILLING to join the march for a cause, poetry beat the lawn for the Women's Media Watch on Tuesday night. Dubbed 'Gender Fever' the regular Tuesday night poetry event took on a more specific cause with part proceeds going towards.

SCREAMS THAT tested the holding power of the eardrums and the boom-boom of Afro-Caribbean drums marked the end of day two of the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission's (JCDC) national music finals.
