Good move, Mr. Seaga

THE EDITOR, Sir:

IT HAS happened. On Tuesday, June 29, 2004 the Leader of the Opposition, Edward Seaga, signalled his departure from the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP).

Now I know how the slaves felt on Emancipation Day. This may be the single most important act of his political career because it is now all but certain that the JLP will win the next general election.
