Finally, some JLP backbone

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM filled with pride to see how much the Jamaica Labour Party is strongly becoming a party of men and women again.

Mr. Seaga has given to the Jamaica Labour Party a 'blank cheque' to cash at the 2004 annual conference. I have every confidence that a new leader of integrity, moral responsibility, spirituality, wisdom, knowledge, intellect and understanding is in the making .

A competent leader shall emerge like a powerful shoot from the ashes of the JLP to reorganise and lead the people to their annual conference 2004. It is no longer a question of if or when Mr. Seaga shall resign. The focus now is who is to be the new leader, more so who will be Prime Minister?
