'Higglers' in the classroom?

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM amazed at the number of teachers who have become higglers in the classroom. They seem to spend more time selling than teaching.

There are some teachers who allow other children to be marking children's books while they are doing their higglering.

As a taxpayer who is paying these teachers I would like the Minister of Education to look into this situation and deal with this situation for the new school year.
