THE EDITOR, Sir:

I would like to commend TVJ for something very thoughtful and helpful. I am a member of the deaf community who depend a lot on technology and closed captions on TV to help us understand what's going on.

Just recently when TVJ changed the background of the News Programme, we noticed that closed caption was added.

We are very happy because we can now understand what is going on around Jamaica. So on behalf of the deaf community, thanks a million for such consideration and please keep us in your mind whenever you guys are upgrading again.

Also, please add closed caption to more of the local programmes.
