Reopen the training centre, please!
published: Tuesday | July 20, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I am again appealing to the Government and the Heart Trust/NTA to reopen the training centre at Mango Walk, Water Lane, Clarendon.

I am aware of the fact that the M.P. for South East Clarendon, Mr. Ruddy Spencer is working tirelessly to have this training centre reopened. I am also concerned about the delay in the starting up of the training centre at Breadnut Valley by Heart Trust/NTA. I am advising the Government that the people of Clarendon will not stand idly by and allow foreigners to get the jobs on the Jamalco expansion.

Again I am asking the Government to please open the Mango Walk and the Breadnut Valley training centres immediately.

I am also calling on the young people of Clarendon to let their voices be heard so the Government will answer their cry.

I am, etc.,

BENJAMIN O. BEALE JR.

Hayes

Clarendon
