Back to reality
published: Thursday | July 29, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THE LESSON to be learnt from the recent overtures by Jamaica into the 'puss in bag' recommendation, 'Greenfield' in Trelawny, seems more 'Dreamfield' in fairyland. The ICC was not about to buy into that 'pie in the sky' offered. The people who conduct the affairs of cricket are concerned with reality.

I sincerely hope that all those who are connected to West Indies Cricket get real, and cease behaving like miniature men, or little 'toy soldiers'.

I am, etc.,

LLOYD A. S. HENRY
