Prayer answered
published: Thursday | August 5, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

ISN'T IT truly amazing how God works. He answers prayers before they are made. The Church has been called to a period of spiritual warfare, to spiritually emancipate our country. It is hoped that we truly understand our task and what is required of us. The spiritual emancipation must start with us, the church. We must first confess and remove all ungodliness that is rife in the church and then seek spiritual emancipation of our country.

It is hoped that the call to 'Bawl Out 2' will challenge every Christian in Jamaica to unite in the spiritual emancipation of our country, which is the only solution to our crisis. This must not only be a time of prayer, but of fasting as well, of humbling ourselves before God, recognising that without Him our country will perish. We must go forth and take authority over the spirits of darkness that have taken over our country. Chris-tians, the time is now! God is calling us to do something now! I have taken up the challenge, have you?

I am, etc.,

J.T.
