Many questions, No answers!
published: Tuesday | August 10, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

ISN'T IT one of the duties of the Financial Services Commission to protect investors? I remember purchasing shares in Caribbean Steel when the government sold their holding only to see the collapse and delisting of the company from the Jamaica Stock Exchange. My investment went down the drain the man in charge of the company then was Mr Richard Lake. Now he is one of the investors going after Caymanas Park.

I have heard nothing from Mr. Lake or the government of the above issue. Did the government sell the general public a dud? Many questions, No answers! The minor shareholders need closure in more ways than one.

I am, etc.,
