Q: What is your response to the claim that beauty contests are superficial?
A: It's not true. Persons might think that because they are not in the pageant. The competition is about the development of the whole person. You learn skills that you can use the rest of your life. I'ts not just about beauty. It's about beauty with a purpose.
Q: What in your opinion is your best quality?
A: My easygoing nature. I'm easy to get along with and I'm pleasant.
Q: How does being in the competition affect your career goals and how will it affect them if you win?
A: I'm at the stage in life where I've achieved my career. It can help in my patient pharmacist relationship. They will have the opportunity to know me so that when they meet me in person they will be already open to me. It will be good for my career.
Q: What do you think of the addition of the talent, Sports and Beach Beauty mini-competitions to the pageant?
A: I think its a wonderful thing. They celebrate the total person. The whole person does involve being a well-rounded individual. I am elated that it has been added. It adds to the perception that this is about the whole person and not just about beauty.
Q: Name three must-haves.
A: Family; my career and a relationship with God.
Q: Why should you win the title of 'Miss Jamaica World'?
A: I would definitely represent the country to the best of my ability. I would showcase the pride, depth and beauty of our people and a bit of everything of Jamaica. I would promote Jamaica as the number one tourist destination in the Caribbean, work with charity and use the title to the fullest.
