Praising an MP

THE EDITOR, Sir:
RE DONOVAN Williamson's comments in your issue of Friday's paper, I was moved to see that an MP can be given praise in Jamaica. Let me hope that it does not take another act of God to adjust the mind of the people. To put party politics aside and be fair, that is one member of the party whom I have identified with Prime Ministerial material.
That man is honest, meaningful, and always in touch with the grass roots. May God help him to keep up the good works. I must also use this opportunity to extend condolences to the family of young Barrett who is well known to me. May his soul rest in peace.
I am, etc.,
