THE EDITOR, Sir:

THERE ARE a number of retired persons who are willing to help organisations by putting in a day or two weekly.

On a recent visit to Florida, I noticed one newspaper which had a weekly visiting of organisations in need of assistance. A short description of each organisation and the areas in which help was needed was given.

If The Gleaner would publish a similar list. I am sure it would be appreciated.
