By Rasbert Turner, Gleaner Writer THREE CHILDREN were burnt to death, and three others were hospitalised, after fire gutted their three-room dwelling along the Port Henderson fishing beach in St. Catherine yesterday. Reports are that about 1:30 a.m. Pansy Henry, a 35-year-old mother of six, was at home with her children when she heard strange sounds. She said that when she went outside to investigate, she noticed two men, one of whom threw something at her house. She said that within seconds, the entire structure was engulfed in flames. THREE OTHERS ESCAPE The fire killed two of Henry's children; four-year-old twins Tyrone and Tyriq Henry, as well as five-year-old Moesha Lee, the daughter of her boyfriend. Henry's three other children, who were also in the house, were rescued and rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital where they were admitted. According to Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) metro officer, Sergeant Steve Brown, the police suspect arson in the burning of Ms. Henry's house and the killing of her three children. Sergeant Brown said that the police have taken two men into custody in connection with the incident. Troy Lee, father of Moesha, said his common-law-wife was a source of contention. He said that she was always quarrelling with neighbours, claiming that she owned the land they lived on, and continuously threatened to remove them. "I told her that she can't deprive people of where to live and that she must just cool," he said.
