THE EDITOR, Sir:

I MUST use this medium to commend Cable & Wireless mobile on the splendid service that was provided throughout Hurricane Ivan. We are always quick to point out faults in these service providers so we need to give commendation when it is due, and also salute them whenever there is excellent service.

Commendation is also due to Hot 102FM, when all other radio station transmissions failed in my area they were still standing. The team provided all the information I needed about Ivan and I also had an idea of what was taking place in the other parishes.
