Billy Hutch and relatives
published: Friday | September 24, 2004

THE EDITOR, Sir:

For the past week I have been trying to contact my relatives in Jamaica, especially my dad Billy Hutch who lives in South Manchester. I am presently living in London, and I am worried sick. I cry everyday because I don't know if they are OK or what.

It has been a horrible time for all Jamaicans both locally and abroad. My friends and I are having sleepless nights. I know that it is going to take some time for our island to recover fully from this disaster but the Lord will help see us all the way through our recovery.

To the families who have lost loved ones my condolences go out to you. Let us all continue to pray for our country and the other islands that were affected by Hurricane Ivan. This is the hurricane of the century. Out Of Many One People. Thanks.

I am, etc.,

BLYTH HUTCHINSON

London
